Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni signs the Anti-Homosexuality Bill into law, criminalizing the existence and work of Sexual Minorities Uganda (SMUG) and other advocacy organizations.
Rally led by Ssempa to give thanks and award President Museveni for signing the bill attended by 30,000 put together by Churches and other groups.
Red pepper Tabloid outs “Ugandas Top 200 Homos.” SMUG reports 163 cases of people persecuted since the signing of the Act.
