Brief Bio

Paul Wasswa is a qualified lawyer and Advocate of the High Court of Uganda.

He holds a Bachelor’s of Laws Degree (LLB) from Makerere University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre (LDC), Certificate in intellectual property and access to medicines with the AIDS and Rights Alliance in Southern Africa (ARASA) and he is currently an LLM Candidate at the School of Law, Makerere University.

At Chapter Four, Paul works towards strengthening civil society resilience and the realization of human rights for all through action research, policy development and litigation.

Paul has previously worked with the Center for Health, Human Rights and Development (CEHURD), SECTION27 and the Aids Foundation of South Africa (AFSA). He is a member of the Treatment Action Campaign (TAC), South Africa and an occasional writer with the Daily Maverick-SA.
