Instruction to hold special sitting to pass the NGO Bill on Sept. 1 issued

On August 20th, the Deputy Speaker of Parliament indefinately adjourned parliamentary proceedings to allow Members of Parliament to go on recess.

However, a day later, on August 21st, the Clerk to Parliament issued an instruction to hold a Special Sitting of Parliament on September 1st 2015 to consider and pass the NGO Bill, 2015.

"On completion and passing of the above, you will resume your recess," reads part of the notice.
