Byansi Henry is an advocate of the Courts of Judicature and his career has been majorly focused on human rights litigation. He is a human rights defender and activist with vast experience in first-line legal response, strategic litigation and human rights advocacy. He is a holder of a Bachelors Degree of Laws (Nkumba University), a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Law Development Center, a Certificate in Litigation of Sexual and Reproductive Rights before Regional and National Courts, University of Pretoria (South Africa), and a Certificate in the Advanced Human Rights Course, Sexual Minority Rights in Africa, University of Pretoria. He is an active member of the Uganda Law Society and East African Law Society.
