This is a letter from 31 Ugandan and international organisations to the Inspector General of Police expressing grave concern about the wave of break-ins targetting offices of Ugandan civil society groups.

Particularly, the groups are concerned by the manner in which the Uganda Police Force has responded – during investigations, and through public statements – regarding the incidents.

The groups call on the police to undertake speedy and thorough investigations in order to bring the perpetrators of these attacks to justice.
