Our Work

General Counsel for CSOs

We provide legal advice and other strategic support to civil society organisations (CSOs) to advance CSO resilience in Uganda.

Since 2014, Chapter Four has been a steadfast legal partner to CSOs in Uganda, empowering their resilience through expert legal advice and support.

Our services include facilitating legal registration, compliance clinics, and strategic support to navigate complex regulatory frameworks.

Beyond direct assistance, Chapter Four offers authoritative legal opinions and in-depth analysis on Uganda’s civil society operating environment to partners and stakeholders. Committed to safeguarding civil society’s vital role, we provide the knowledge and guidance necessary to foster a robust and sustainable sector.
